Profile
The
Fitness Profile screen stores
basic information about you that is used
throughout the Tool Chest™ for Health and Fitness
course to calculate
things such as your body mass index and
the calories that you are consuming,
based on your age, sex and lifestyle
level.
You enter your name, birth date, gender
and your baseline activity level during
an average day, based on the type of
work you normally do. Lifestyle Level is
used to estimate the number of calories
you burn for routine daily activities.
Lifestyle
Level is a way of accounting for
calories that you burn for routine daily
activities, such as eating and working.
The Activity Journal and the Calorie
Analysis screens use your lifestyle
level when calculating your daily
calories burned.
